Visitors

Nolan has been so popular since his arrival. We have had a ton of visitors. Here are just a few in the first couple months.

His cousins from Portland, Elsie and Levi.

Here is his Aunt Shari.

We took a trip to visit our good friends Sarah and Scott.

Angie comes to visit often too!

Beth and Ella have made it from Roseburg a few times to hang out with Nolan.

Nolan was a little jaundiced for the first few weeks, we took him to the doctor everyday for the first several days. Everytime he would get a prick on his heal to test his jaundice levels. They were never so elevated that he needed to be under the light, but it was kinda hard to see him cry everyday.

So we continued taking him to the river, and on short walks.

And we would lay him in the sunlight

which he didn't seem to mind.

We would also weigh him, thanks to the scale Gramma Janet got for us. We really wanted to make sure this little guy was getting enough to eat and growing strong.

Jonathan liked to bottle feed him sometimes. Look how tiny he was in his arms.

This is our first trip into town. Gramma Janet and I went to the farmers market and she bought me some beautiful flowers. There is a baby in there somewhere. :)

Thank you to Gramma Janet for coming and staying with us the third week of Nolan's life. She really gave me the confidence to be where I am today. Sometimes you just need somebody to tell it like it is.

Oh this baby...

Well it was an exciting 1st month. Nolan did a lot of sleeping and eating. He wasn't quite ready to be born yet so he was pretty quiet and calm. He was also so very tiny.

We were spending a lot of time inside and we were all craving some fresh air, so we decided to take Nolan on his first trip to the river. We are so fortunate that it is just a mile down the road.
