Johnna and Wayne's Wedding

Jonathan I decided to attend his cousin Johnna's wedding at the last minute. We hitched a ride with his sister Holly and her husband Mike and our niece Steelie. The ride was a bit cramped, but we had fun along the way.
When we arrived in Sacramento we headed straight to the wedding. It was held at the Sacramento international Hostel, the building was gorgeous. The Bride and Groom were all decked out and ready to get married. The ceremony was held outside in beautiful weather and the reception inside.

We all danced the night away and enjoyed some good food and libations.

Here is a great shot of the family being silly!

The next day we rode back to Medford with Jonathan's parent. It was a great trip! We also stopped at a great place in Dunsmuir, CA called Yak's on the 5 and had the best burgers!!! They were incredible!!

Jonathan working hard or hardly working?

I'd say working hard!
Jonathan has been given the opportunity to work for his uncle Don while in Medford. He gets up early and works on cabinetry until quittin' time. It's been awesome having the opportunity to pick up some jobs here and there. Plus he gets to spend manly time with Don! :)

Medford

It's so nice to get to spend time in Medford with our family when we can. This visit we had so many lovely times, including Boatnik in Grants Pass. The family took a drive to visit the carnival and watch the boat time trials. Here is Cricket watching from the bridge, I'm sure she really understood what was going on. ;)

Here is one of the boats, the are so streamlined for speed, and loud!
the boats can reach speed of 170 mph. It's intense.

Look, Dora!

After Boatnik, we meandered out to the Applegate valley and visited Schmidt Family Vineyard. Once there we met up with the Baida Family and watched our nephew Ethan play in a jazz band. It was lovely. After Schmidt, we ventured over to Troon Vineyard where we enjoyed the lawn and their wonderful wine selections.

Relaxing, Lazy days

Here is cricket lounging after a big day out and about

I love this picture below, great fire pit, pool, and comfy home.

The time he threw me in the pool

Lucky me, I got to test out the pool water before I was ready. Jonathan decided it was best for me to take a dip, so he hoisted me up and into the pool.
I was not thrilled! Oh well, I'm dry now.

Click on the picture below and zoom in on Mike's face. He is so entertained! This picture is worth the whole thing. :)

Reunited!!

After several weeks of traveling, we finally picked up our lady dog, Cricket! We are very happy to have her around, and it seems she is also elated! She has adapted well to van life, freely roaming the vehicle while we drive, she chews bones, and plays with her toys, she has also claimed her sleeping spot. :)

Once we grabbed the dog, we headed to one of our old favorite camping spots, Tokatee falls. We only spent one night there, but are planning on visiting again the summer. We went on a hike to the waterfall itself, I recommend seeing this waterfall, it is exceptional.
This is not a picture of the waterfall, unfortunately we did not get a picture of it. Weird!
Here is a picture of the river next to our campsite.

On the hike to the falls

A small fall on the way to the the real thing

Back at camp cooking dinner. The back box was great for a counter top.

Time for bed, we got all snuggly and warm for the night, then watched a movie and fell asleep.
