During our time in Jackson, WY, it was pretty snowy, so we got a room at the Virginian Lodge and stayed for a week. We spent some time in the room just lounging and being cozy, but when we went out, we had a good time.
Here we are having happy hour at a local brewery called snake river!
Around the restaurant there were all of these painted tiles. They were painted by people who would come and join for a "paint a tile" night. All the tiles are then put up to decorate the restaurant. It was pretty unique.
In the middle of town there is a ski hill called Snow King. They offered night skiing and it lit up so pretty. We didn't get a chance to ski it, but we walked around to check it out. Kind of a cool thing to have in town.
Here is a picture of Snow King from across the Elk Refuge
In Downtown Jackson, there a four of these antler archways entering a park. They are all lit up and create such a pretty glow.
Do you see all of the Elk?
Bighorn Sheep! They were just walking across the road.
This is a view outside our room. It's to show the amount of snow. By the time we left, there was about twice that much.
Jonathan is throwing snowballs at me on our walk. One hit me right in the face!
A beautiful view from the mountain.
Brother, Brother, Brother!!! Don't throw snowballs at girls!!! Of course Kelly would have been doing the same thing:) Love the selfie of you two!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, as usual! Love the tile decoration idea. Jonathan always did have good aim, so I am guessing it was not an accident :(
