Jonathan and I love to hit up Diners, Drive-in's, and dives on our travels. One our favorites so far was the Pecan Lodge. This restaurant has been awarded several times for exceptional BBQ. Jonathan ordered the pulled pork which was so smokey and tender. I had what was called the Hot mess, it consisted of a Large sweet potato filled with shredded brisket, chipotle cream, cheese, butter, and green onions. I could not finish it, but oh boy did I want to.

We always take time to take a nap while the other is driving. That Hot Mess really made me sleepy. :)
That looks pretty tasty!!! May have to head back to Texas to try it ourselves:)!!
