Driving to Iowa

We stopped at several places on our way to Iowa. 

the first time I had ever seen a Deaf person sign was in Cleveland, Ohio. :)

Next, we made it to Lake Eerie on the Ohio side, and went for a walk out to the water. There was still a bunch of snow there.

This walkway went right out into the frozen water.

We like to visit now and again.

So far our only car trouble on the trip, knock on wood, was 25 miles from the Indiana boarder. It was only 9 degrees outside and we do our own car work. We were able to limp the car into Indiana, to an auto parts store, where we changed the oil filter, cap and rotor, and spark plugs and wires. We were so nervous about the car after that point and we were a day behind schedule, we just booked it to Iowa. I do have to say, we were pretty lucky our issues were so small.
