Jonathan's Mountain time

Jonathan spent some time up at the mountain this summer, not only playing disc golf and mountain biking, he also got a job in the restaurant!

Here are a few shots of the mountain's disc golf coarse. I went and played disc with him a while ago up there, and it wasn't that easy. This coarse had a lot of long downhill shots, and a lot of trees in the way. He went with our friend Nick and had a great day.

A perk to being employed at Mt. Bachelor, is that you get a season pass for mountain biking. Jonathan went 4 or 5 times. He said the coarse was pretty advanced, he always likes a challenge though.

This is a great drawing of the mountain we both admire.

Here Jonathan is heading to work. Whenever he worked he had to ride the chairlift up to the restaurant. What a great way to start a shift! :)

Not much snow this time of year.

Here he is looking svelte in his chef's coat.

I would have loved to have dined at the restaurant sometime, however the prices are very steep. Also it cost 14 dollars just to ride the chairlift to the top. I am just to frugal for that.
Here is the menu of all the mouth watering items.

Here is the line Jonathan worked on, he worked the grill station cooking the most expensive items on the menu, Steaks. He said on average his station was 120 degrees. Ouch! that's too hot!
All in all he really enjoyed his time working there and all the people he met.

  1. The menu looked yummy, but you are right, too expensive. I love seeing things he did this summer, thank you :)
