Chicago

The first thing we did upon arriving in Chicago was get pizza.
Cristin recommended a place called Lou Malnati's Pizzeria, It was delicious, good service too!
It was pouring rain that night and we didn't feel like getting wet, so we made it an early night. The Wal-mart we stayed at this night was a bit rougher then the rest. Luckily there was security driving around all night, and another r.v. much nicer then ours. :)

In the morning we went to Millennium Park to check out the art.
This water feature called Crown Fountain was weird, It had 2 sides with faces on them, looking around and eventually shooting water out of their mouths.

The 110-ton elliptical sculpture is forged of a seamless series of highly polished stainless steel plates, which reflect Chicago’s famous skyline and the clouds above. A 12-foot-high arch provides a "gate" to the concave chamber beneath the sculpture, inviting visitors to touch its mirror-like surface and see their image reflected back from a variety of perspectives.

Inspired by liquid mercury, the sculpture is among the largest of its kind in the world, measuring 66-feet long by 33-feet high.

  1. I have never seen that art there, but I have not been there for over 15 years. Is the water fountain from Married with Children still there?
