Have you dug Wall Drug?

On our way through South Dakota, we discovered a lot of fun roadside attractions. Dinosaur park being one of them. :)
Dinosaur Park is a tourist attraction in Rapid City, South Dakota. Dedicated on May 22, 1936, it contains seven dinosaur sculptures on a hill overlooking the city, created to capitalize on the tourists coming to the Black Hills to see Mount Rushmore.

Cricket even got in on the fun of climbing on them.

South Dakota was certainly fun to drive through on Interstate 90. There are a bunch of signs about Wall Drug. Free Ice water, 50cent coffee, root beer, food. It was fun to follow the signs and get closer and closer. We did take advantage of the free ice water and the 50cent coffee. We also went through the shops and found some South Dakota shirts.

Here is a link to the history of Wall Drug. It's a pretty cool story!

Can't pass the Jackalope.

Jonathan found our new car. ;)

What my ancestors looked like.

Wall Drug was an experience that's for sure. Glad we got a chance to visit the iconic landmark.
